Tianda Group sponsored Lucerne Festival Orchestra from Switzerland China Tour.

In 2017, Lucerne Festival Orchestra from Switzerland performed the concert at National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing on 15 October. The performance was led by the famous conductor, Mr Riccardo Chailly. The program included Egmont Overture (Beethoven), Symphony No.8 (Beethoven) and Rite of Spring (Stravinsky). These masterpieces are seldom performed in previous Lucerne Festival Orchestra concerts.

The Orchestra not only demonstrated a brilliant performance to the audience in China, but also conducted an in-depth cultural exchange through arts, which aligned with Tianda Group’s mission of supporting cultural exchange projects.

The Lucerne Festival is a series of classical music festivals based in Lucerne, the most ideal tourism destination located in the mid of Switzerland, founded in 1938 by the famous conductor Toscanini. In the last decade, Lucerne Festival Orchestra has obtained various awards such as Diapason d’Or, the BBC Music Magazine Award and the International Classical Music Award.
