In July 2020, Tianda Group received the notification of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs that 2 counties namely Jinping County of Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Honghe and Malipo County of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province have been removed from the list of poor counties. Since 1998, Tianda Group Limited has supported the Poverty Alleviation Projects of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has donated for five times. Since 1992, the Ministry has committed to poverty alleviation in the 2 counties, Assistance has been provided to and helped implemented projects in such areas as education, hygiene, water supply, village reformation, training and employment, business development, largely contributing to the scheduled lifting of the 2 counties out of poverty. On 17 May 2020, the People's Government of Yunnan Province officially announced the removal of the 2 counties from the list of poor countries. Going forward, Tianda Group will continue supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in poor alleviation areas, as well as caring community initiatives as a whole, as part of its ongoing efforts to serving people’s wellbeing.
