In 3 August 2014, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 on the Liket scale struck Ludian County in Yunnan, causing thousands of casualties. The Tianda Group and its staff donated RMB 1 million to the Yunnan Charity Federation to support the relief work in Ludian County.
