In Australia, the exploration licenses granted to Tianda Resources in Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory cover more than 6,000 square kilometers, presenting an extensive tenement package highly prospective for uranium, base metals and iron ore. Independent geological reports prepared for these areas highlight the excellent mineral potential. The exploration programme and development plan have been formed accordingly. Moreover, the company is also preparing to invest and develop some mining projects in other states.

Tianda's subsidiary, Yunnan Tianda Mining Limited ("Yunnan Tianda") was granted the Certificate of Approval for Exploration by the Department of Land & Resources of Yunnan Province. Yunnan Tianda has commenced two exploration projects in Yunnan Province. They are :
 
1. Huize County in Qujing City of Yunnan Province - Project of lead and zinc mine
2. Xinqiao in Dongchuan District of Yunnan Province – Project of the Copper and Multi-metal Mine
